after the fall of directory ,the napoleon banoparte took the advantage and crowned himself as the king of france.he saw himself as moderniser and started demolishing dynasties and put his family member. he introduced decimal system,standard unit for weight and measurment and protection of private property but he was defeated in waterloo in 1815.
