3x+4y=10

2x-2y=2

Multoply 2nd equation by 2

3x+4y=10

4x-4y=4

Hence

7x=14

x=14÷7

x=2

2x-2y=2

2×2-2y=2

4-2y=2

-2y=2-4

-2y=2-4

-2y=-2

y=-2÷-2

y=1

ANSWER

y=1

Answer:x= 2, y=1

Step-by-step explanation:

3x= 10-4y.....(I)

2x=2+2y

x=1+y.......(ii)

Putting value of (ii) in (I)

So we get

3(1+y) = 10-4y

3+3y = 10-4y

4y+3y= 10-3

7y=7

y=1

So putting value of y in (ii)

We get

x=1+1

x=2
