NaCl has higher melting point as compared to nephthalane?
(ii) NaCl is a good conductor of electricity in molten state but not is solid state.​

Explanation:

NaCl is sodium chloride .So it is a base..So it wil produce hydroxide ions..when it is in solid state the hydroxide ions are not produce because NaCL does not ionise ..So it does not conduct electricity.When in molten state it became liqiud it get H2O as u know is necessary form forming hydroxide ions in base and hydrogen ions in acid.so when in moltem state hydroxide ions ionise to conduct electricity
