Nalini noticed that when she released her breathe after holding it for some
time, she had to breathe heavily. Can you tell her why it was so

Because if we hold or close but nose for sometime than our body didnt get the oxygen to work it out so it start working easily.

hey, here is your answer

it's because when we hold our breathe for some time then there is no possibility of exchange of gases, that is no releasing of CO2 and a lack of oxygen too. so when we start breathing again after sometime our body must find a solution for the situation the body have undergone. therefore for absorbing oxygen , our body tends to breath heavily.
