Step-by-step explanation:

let 2r coins be x

let 5r coins be y

by given data we can say that (x)=3(y){numerically}

and 2(x)+5(y)=77

in place of x we can substitute 3(y)

2(3)(y)+5(y)=77

6(y)+5(y)=77

11(y)=77

y=7

therefore

contribution of 2r coins :

2(3)(y)=6y=6(7)=42

contribution of 5r coins :

5y=5(7)=35

number of coins:

2r coins=3y=42/2=21

(or)

=3y= 3(7)=21

5r coins=35/5=7

(or)

= y= 7
