Types of plastids-

1) Chromoplast- Provides colour to fruits and flowers.

2) Chloroplast- Provides green colour to leaves and stem of plant (contains chlorophyll) which helps in photosynthesis.

3) Leucoplast- White coloured plastid that stores fats and starch. Present in roots

chloroplasts : green coloured , chlorophyll contain plastid.
chromopalsts: these are yellow or reddish in colour and are present in flowers and fruits.
leucoplasts: they are colourless plastid , which store protiens, lipids in them
functions are
leucoplasts store the reserve food in form of starch grain or oil droplets or protiens.
chromopalsts help in pollination and dispersal of seeds and fruits.
chloroplasts are sites of photosynthesis.
