The nerve cell or a Neuron is long and branched. Nerve cell helps to transmit messages within our body. It also receives messages or stimuli from inside or outside the body and sends to the different body parts. The messages travel from one neuron to the other and hence the message is transmitted.

It consists of dendrites, cyton and many parts.
