Since copper is less reactive than hydrogen, it is not able to displace hydrogen from dilute acids. The other metals being more reactive will displace hydrogen.

Well the answer is Cu or known as Copper.

This is because Copper is less reactive than Hydrogen in the Reactivity series. Due to this Copper cannot displace Hydrogen from it's salt solution since Hydrogen has more reactivity than Copper

Equation can be given as :

HCl + Cu => Cu + HCl ( No Reaction )

But if the the salt contains Copper instead of Hydrogen then the reaction will occur by which Hydrogen displaces Copper from it's salt.

Equation :

CuSO₄ + H₂ => H₂SO₄ + Cu ( Displacement Reaction )
