First law - law of inertia ..it states that "a body at rest will remain at rest or body in uniform motion will remain in uniform motion until n unless an external unbalanced force acts on it " U may understand it through some examples ... (1) inertia of rest - whn a bus starts suddenly the passengers are thrown backwards. > whn a muddy carpet is beaten with a stick. (2) inertia of motion - whn a bus stops suddenly the passengers are thrown forward. (3) inertia of direction - whn a bus takes a sharp curve we also move sidewise. 2nd law - force applied on a body is directly proportional to the rate of change of momentum of the body. 3rd law - For every action there is an equal n opposite reaction .
