Acesulfame potassium (Ace-K) is 200 times sweeter than sucrose (commonsugar), as sweet as aspartame, about two thirds as sweet as saccharin, and one third as sweet as sucralose. Like saccharin, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste, especially at high concentrations.
