husk can be removed by a method called winnowing.
Winnowing:The process of separation of lighter particles from heavier particles; with the help of wind; is called winnowing. This method is used for separating grains from husk. Farmers drop the mixture of wheat and husk from a height. The husk is carried by the wind and form a heap at a small distance away. The wheat grains being heavier fall vertically to form a separate heap.

Material granules movement speed and direction in the airflow mainly depends on relations between airflow effort P and granules weight G.
When P<G, material has accelerated movement downward;
When P>G, material has accelerated movement upward;
When P=G, material stays in the suspension state. At this moment, the airflow movement speed is the suspension speed of the material
