Name and write all the types of reactions that the product of glycolysis i.e. pyruvate undergoes with the thiol group of CoA-SH. How are these reactions related to the phenomenon of substate chanelling?

Glycolysis is the first step in breaking down of glucose to extract energy for cellular metabolism . This is mainly done using a series of reactions that extract energy from glucose by splitting in into three carbon molecules called pyruvates.

Glycolysis takes place in the cytosol of the cell and is broken down into energy requiring phase and energy releasing phase.

Thus glycolysis converts one six carbon molecule of glucose into two three carbon molecules of pyruvate. The net products of this process are two molecules of ATP and two molecules of NADH.
