Any 4 sources of water pollution are

  • Acid Rain- It happens when large amount of pollution is present in air and drops in form of rain.
  • Industrial Affluents- Here all wastes are thrown in water, including paints and oils.
  • Eutrophication- Farmers use excess of Fertilizers which flows away and mixes with water and makes algae formations on surface.
  • Wastewater or Sewage - From many housing complexes faeces are thrown away in form of sewage.

EFFECTS

This leads to death of various marine animals and also death of aquatic plants , hence destroying the aquatic life.

These are eaten by humans and hence can cause severe diseases.

Such also happened in Japan.
