Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the father of Indian constitution was originally from a dalit family. He had to face many such challenges regarding caste system during his childhood. He pursued his higher studies and did PhD.

After coming back to India, he fought for the fundamental rights of the backward classes. He drafted a constitution with several such rights like Right to equality, Right against exploitation etc$.$

He promoted education and struggled to seek equality for the Untouchables to enter temples. Additionally, He also fought for gender equality.

He was successful enough in bringing a huge change in the legal system of attaining equality in the society and recieved Bharat Ratna in 1990.
