Any three parts of Northern plain are-
The Punjab - Haryana Plain - This plain lies to the west of the Delhi ridge. It is drained by the beas, ravi and sutlej rivers. This region is a part of the larger indus plain that lies largely in Pakistan. It covers the states of Punjab and Haryana.

The Ganga Plain - it is drained by the Ganga and its tributaries namely the yamuna, gomti, ghagra, gandak, kosi,son and damodar. It covers the states of UP, uttarakhand, parts of MP, bihar and West bengal.

The Brahmaputra Plain - it lies to the east and is drained by the Brahmaputra river and its tributaries namely subansiri, jiabharali, dhansiri, manas, torsa and teesta. The Brahmaputra originates in Tibet, where it is known as Yarlung Tsangpo. In India, it flows through the states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, beforehand entering Bangladesh.
