The three states of water are:-

  1. Solid
  2. Liquid
  3. Gas

Solid :- It's atoms are sticked to each other. There don't move and are MOSTLY hard in shape. Example :- lce.

Liquid :- The atoms of this state are loosely packed with each other. They flow if poured on solid state and some of them turn to gas when reacted to heat. Example :- Water itself.

Gas:- lts atoms are not at all connected to each other and thus, have large intermolecular spaces between them. Example :- Water vapour.
