 solar cells are made by silicon boron and silicon arsenic  this solar cells traps suns energy but in low amount so so many solar cells are joined together to make a solar panel. solar panel traps suns heat in very large quantities and stores it which is used to run solar heaters, solar cookers , solar lights etc..
