Gupta Period was considered as the golden era of the Indian History. It existed from 320 AD to 550 AD and they covered much of the Indian sub-continent. The Gupta dynasty was founded by Sri Gupta and was succeeded by Ghatotkacha, Chandragupta-I, Samudragupta, Chandragupta-II, Kumaragupta-I.
The kings of the Gupta adopted many different titles. A few examples are -
1. Samudragupta - Kaviraja, Ashmedha, Param Bhagavat, Sarva-raja-och-chetta and Dharma Prachar Bandu.
2. Chandragupta-II - Vikramaditya, Devashri, Devraja, and Param Bhagavata.
