There are four main types of teeth in the buccal cavity/mouth:

- Incisors:
Incisors are found in front of your mouth. There are total 8 incisors
(4 n the top and 4 in the bottom). They are used for cutting food into small pieces.

- Canines:
Canines are located on each side of the incisors teeth making the canines four in total. These teeth along with incisors play a vital role in digestion and forming a smile.

- Premolars:
They  are located behind the canines and they help in chewing and grinding the food, so that they become semi - liquid. Premolars are also called as bicuspids.

- Molars: There are total 8 molars in our mouth. Molars are used to chew, crush and grind food. Molars are more prone to germ attacks and other deficiencies because of their remote location in the mouth.
