ANSWER:
DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES AND THEIR PROBLEMS!
What does democracy means?
Democracy is a system used worldwide by the people of respective nation to select their government by the power of voting.
What is a democratic country?
A democratic country implies to a country where each and every citizen of that respective country either directly or indirectly has the right to participate in a political system in making decisions.
Moving to 5 democratic countries and their problem.
There are various democratic countries in the world which practice the system of democracy to elect their government to run their country.
Let's first talk about the world's biggest democratic country, India.
Problems faced:
India faces a lot of problems one of the biggest is communalism and terrorism.Yes, since the last decade terrorism has been proved to be a serious threat for India. It also faces other problems which is equally affecting too badly. Some of the other problems are Left- Extremists- Naxalism, corruption, criminalisation of politics, over population and social challenges like unemployment, caste based issues and increasing gap between rich and poor.
To resolve these issues:
It is the duty of the government to take into consideration the interest of minorities. All religious, linguistic ethnic and caste groups should get equal opportunities to participate in the decision making. A conscious effort should be made by everyone toward education for all campaigns. To implement and respect the values of equality, fraternity, liberty and social justice.
Let's now talk about the issues faced by enemy neighbour, Pakistan:
Pakistan a nation which is badly known for its terrorist activities worldwide. The sad fact is even though being a democratic country the military coup are much more in power than the government of the nation. The terrorist are supported and provided with whatever they need by Pakistan. The refugees camp, illiteracy are major problems in Pakistan.
To resolve these issues :
The government needs to co-operate with the world rather than hiding things in their own basket. They should show strictness and must establish a friendly relationship with other counties too. The people should be made aware of the harmful effects of terrorism which can even destroy up their own country. Education should reach out to maximum people.
Let's now discuss about China.
Undoubtedly one of the strongest country of the present time. But still it too have problems, which is created by its power. China has also too taken enemyship with India and certain other counties. China misuses its power on small and weak nation which is not a good sign for its development. On the issue of veto power it always neglects India in the UN assembly.
To resolve these issues :
China should establish friendly atmosphere with other nation even if they are not too powerful. The country should also try to have a balance in the population growth as it's growing too rapidly. The government should make attempts to help other nation in times of trouble rather than becoming problem itself.
Let's now talk about Bangaldesh.
A democratic country which may not be too developed but is also has its own democratic system. The country faces a lot of economical issues, illiteracy, unemployment, floods, etc.Being a small country it has less resources for which it has to be too dependent on other countries. The economy of this country has very low value as compared with many of the nation from which it imports goods.
To resolve these issues :
The government of Bangladesh needs to take necessary measures essential for the development of the country. The slums which are built in Bangladesh should be forbidden or should be allowed to be built with strict permission as too much of illegal works happen in the slums of Bangladesh. The education quality should be improved and should be made available to the people on a large scale. Awareness must be created about many social issues.
Now let's move to Sri Lanka:
An island towards to south of India which mainly faces problems related to natural calamities and riots within the nation among the citizens itself. An island which is well developed one and a peaceful place doesn't face too many problems due to factors from outside but due to its own critizen it faces problems.
To resolve these issues :
The government needs to establish a harmony within people. Should take initiative to avoid Civil Wars. A well plan and quite in advance, should be made to fight against the natural calamities.
