First you should understand what is XX and XY.

These are chromosomes that determines the sex of a person .

Humans have 46 chromosomes i.e in 23 pairs.

One of tha pairs determines the sex of the person that is XX and XY.

XX - Female child
XY - Male child

You asked which hormone produces these pairs .

Actually these are chromosomes, and they are found in the nucleus of a cell packed in DNA molecule. It is the genetic material found in every human cell. It is not that any hormone produces it.Chromosomes get transmitted from a parent to its offspring.

Hope This Helps You!
