Earlier the organisms were divided into two kingdom ie Plant and Animals Kingdoms. But this system was inadequate. To solve this problem American Scientist Robert Whittakar in 1996 introduced 5 kingdom system .which are Monera,Protista,Fungi,Plantar and Animals.
