A total of over 1 052 towns and villages were located, mostly in the general Indus valley and its prosperous areas. The Indus Valley Civilization populace may once have reached five million.

The bottom segment was named the bottom area. The lower part was called the lower city. Rich people lived in the upper part of the city, while workers lived in the lower part of the city.

Some brands include pots of terracotta, gold , silver, stones, crystals, instruments for the making of  seashells, pearls, & flints.
