the rajput ruler who resisted mahan akbar was Maharana pratap .
akbar tried his best to defeat pratap but maharan pratap didn't give up and at last there was held a war named haldighati(rajsmand} in 18 june 1576. and maharana pratap lost that war but akbar struggled too much to defeat pratap still pratap didn't give but on the basis of situation historians says that maharana pratap lost that fight .
