CEREBRUM:- 1.Seat of mental abilities, controls thinking, memory, reasoning, perception, emotions and speech.
2.Interprets sensations and responds to cold, haet, pain, pressure.
DIENCEPHALON:-1.Relay centre for sensory impulses, such as pain, temperature,
and light.
2.Reflex centre for muscular activities.
3.Centre for certain emotions like anger
4.Centre for water balance, blood pressure, body temperature, sleep, hunger.
5.The hypothalamus controls pituitary gland.
MID BRAIN:- It relays motor impulses from cerebral cortex to spinal cord and relays sensory impulses from spinal cord to thalamus.
