Perennial Rivers would be those which have water in good volume throughout the year. Mostly snow fed and rain fed combined is a good perennial river. But in equatorial /tropical regions rainfall is sufficient so snowfed is not necessary.
Continent wise example will be :
1 North America : St Lawrence, Hudson, Fraser, Mississippi and tributaries, Red River, Rio Grande.
2 South America :Orinoco Amazon La plata, Uruguay rivers.
3,Europe :Rhine, Seine, Rhone, Danube, Volga, Don, Ural, Elbe Dniester.
4 Asia Lena, Yenisey, Amu darya, Yangtze kiang, Hwang ho, Sikiang, Ganga, Indus, Brahmaputra, Euphrates _Tigris etc.
5,Africa :Nile, Niger, Volta, Zaire, Zambezi, Orange. (incidentally most of African perennial Rivers are rainfed.
6 Australia /Oceania Murray, darling Rivers (perennial by Australian standards), Fly river, irian jaya) :Whanganui, waikato, oreti mataura (big enough by new Zealand standards).
So this is the list of perennial world class rivers.
