Answer: The countries where elections are held regularly but they cannot be considered as democratic countries are China and Mexico.

 In China, elections are held after every five years for the parliament called the National People’s Congress. It has 3000 members and some of its members are elected by the army.

 Only members of the Communist Party are allowed to contest for elections. The government I always formed by the communist party which makes it undemocratic.

 In Mexico, The PRI always wins elections because the opposition did not contest and never managed to win. All those who were employed in the government office had to attend party meeting.
