Survey reports say that the major alkaline element in tobacco is nicotine.
However, there are many minor alkaline present in tobacco smoke as well.
These are anabasine, nornicotine ,anatabine, cotinine and mysomine.
It has been observed that the addition of these five minor alkaline have increased nicotine-induced hyperactivity, sensitization and intravenous self-administration when in a laboratory an experiment had been conducted on rats by scientists.
