Standing as a necklace of pearl it was weak, and it broke down into several pieces and fell into the ground. Till that time robber heard some noise and they ran away. Now you have fear of how you will face your parents losing such a precious thing. And if you tell them about this incident to your parents, they will not let you keep anything with you in future. You loved that necklace, but to save yourself from a situation, you ran from there leaving your precious necklace in pieces there itself. The next day people come and pick up those pieces and become rich. you are left with nothing now. And the robber didn't get caught and continues his business even today.
Similarly, you have a beautiful necklace of pearl "life". One day a robber invades and tries to disturb or break your life into pieces. being in fear of "if you get a nice scolding then 'what will happen?" you left your life lying on that road for such a cheap reason?
