Explanation : The starch has two components , amylose and amylopectin.  Amylose is straight chain sugar polymer in normal corn it contains 25% but in high amylose corn contains 50-70% amylose. Rest part of the starch is composed by amylopectin. amylopectin is branched chain sugar polymer , it is the major part of starch.
