suberin.

It is present in scierenchyma cells and not in cork cells. The walls of cork cells are heavily thickened with an organic substance, suberin, Suberin makes these cells impervious to water and gases.

Hope it helps you Mate!!!

Explanation:

1)Waterproofing And Bonding Agent

Conpro SB-4 is a special styrene butadiene copolymer emulsion based additive for concrete and mortar to increase adhesion strength, water resistance, chemical resistance and abrasion resistance. Uses : Conpro SB-4 can be used as additive for: Bonding of old concrete to new concrete.

2)The thin walls of those cells are saturated with a fatty waxy substance, called suberin, which makes cork almost impervious to water .

3)lignin

The chemical substances which acts as cement and hardens the cell walls of sclerenchyma is "lignin".

4)lignin

The cells of this tissue are living, elongated and irregularly thickened at the corners. The cells of this tissue are dead. They are long and narrow as the walls are thickened due to lignin (a chemical substance which acts as cement and hardens them).
