Hey buddy
when potassium (k ) reacts with H2O....
Then it forms potassium hydroxide and liberate HYDROGEN gas .
we can test the liberated gas by bringing a burning candle near it .
then it will start producing pop sounds which shows the presence of hydrogen gas .

H2 is the correct answer...
we can test it passing the gas through a soap solution. hydrogen being lighter than air would rise and release bubbles.
bring a candle near the bubbles, it would burst with a pop-pop sound.
This shows the presence of hydrogen gas.
