Cataract is the condition characterized by the eye lens becoming cloudy, resulting in blurry vision. The condition occurs due to the lens' proteins breaking down with age.

Other medical conditions like Diabetes, Smoking, Family History, etc may also accelerate cataract formation.

TREATMENT OF CATARACT

Cataract can be looked after in an early stage by a suitable prescription for the eyeglasses, use of sunglasses, magnifying glass, etc.

The only treatment is a surgery which is recommended if the cataract creates problems for the patient.
