there there are three defects of human eye

1myopia

it it is a defect of human human eye can see e only the nearby object but can't see the distant object because the persons far pointis less than infinity here to correct this defect we have to use a concave lens

2hypermetropia

it it is a defect of human eye where eye can see distinct object clearly but can't see nearby object as its near object is more than 25cmto correct this defect we have to use a convex lens

3presbyopia

it it is a defect of human eye which is generally caused in old age people it is also known as old age hypermetropiahere also an eyecannot see nearby object

sometimes people can't see nearby object clearly and and far object clearly as their ciliary muscles become weak and cannot relax and contract easily in this case person have to use bifocal lens spectacles

1. Myopia: In which a person is able to see the nearby things clearly but not able to see far objects distinctly. Can be corrected by using concave lense

2. Hypermetropia: In this, the person is able to see the far objects clearly but cannot see the nearby objects so clearly. Can be corrected by convex lens.

Cataract: Clouding of lens takes place which resists formation of clear, sharp image.
