Name the different seasons in India stating the months when they are experienced.

There are 4 different season in India namely winter, summer, rainy and autumn season.

EXPLANATION:

  • India is mostly a tropical country and it does not have a wide variety of seasonal changes, but topography of India is very unique therefore, it does experience different types of seasons.
  • The first season can be summer season which lasts for months of March, April, and May. Then starts rainy season or the monsoons which last for months of June, July, and August.
  • Then, start post monsoonal season or short-timed autumn season which lasts for month of "August, September, October, and November".
  • And, then comes the winters which last for month of "December, January, and February". Although it should be noted that this is a very broad classification because climate of India varies widely in north and the southern parts of India.
