In the process of respiration, glucose is generally oxidized in the body.

In an aerobic reaction, complex food particle that is glucose on account of oxygen is released in the form of carbon dioxide, water and energy.

Thus, glucose is converted or oxidized into the form of energy.

Hi,
=======:
Here is your answer,
=======:
It's the glucose that oxidised in during respiration(aerobic) , which results to form carbon-dioxide in addition with water and energy.
While such thing not happen in Aerobic respiration.Here we see that glucose is broken down into Ethyl alcohol in addition with carbon dioxide and energy (oxygen is not involved in reaction) .
