RAPID COMBUSTION - The process in which a substance combines chemically with oxygen at a temperature above it's ignition temperature with large evolution of heat and light in a short time is called rapid combustion.

SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION - The bursting into flame of a mass of material as a result of chemical reactions within the substance, without the addition of heat from an external source is known as spontaneous combustion.
