There are many enzymes responsible for digestion.

Digestion starts from our mouth . Here the masticated food is mixed with enzyme called Salivary Amylase which break down complex food in simpler compound.

Than food enters Stomach . Stomach have pepsin in them along with HCl and mucus . Here pepsin is a digestive enzyme which break proteins into peptons and proteases .

Than food enters small intestine where bile juice emulsifies large fat globules into smaller one.

Trypsin in intestine itself converts peptons and proteases in dipeptide.
