● Kjeldahl method -
- Kjeldahl method is used for estimation of nitrogen content in given organic/inorganic sample.
This involves 3 simple steps -
1) digestion - organic nitrogen is converted to NH4+.
2) distillation - NH3 is distilled and retained in reciever vessel.
3) Titration - nitrogen is determined
