the pancreatic juice is a liquid which is secreted by pancreas in which such enzyme are present the ph of pancreatic juice is (8.8) and daily secrets is 1500 ml. pancreatic juice use in digestion of starch digestion.
trypsinogen is produced by the acinal cells of pancreas which the site of action is intestine.
starch→ maltose +isomaltose +dextrin in presence of pancreatic amylase.
(b) protein digestion
trypsinogen is firstly activated by exterokinase enzyme of intestinal juice
trypsinogen →trypsin +inactive dipeptide
↑ ↑
(alkaline medium) (autocataysis)
trypsin also activate other proenzyme
chymotrypsinogen→chymotrypsin
procarboxypeptidase→carboxypeptidase.
(chymotrypsin also hydrolyses the proteose and peptones to peptide.)
(c) fatdigestion by action of pancreatic lipase (steapsin)
emulsified fats→fatty acids +glucerol +monoglycerides
triglyceride
↓
1,2 diglyceride + fatty acid
↓
2 monoglyceride+fatty acid
↓
1 monoglyceride
↓
glycerol +fatty acid
