smooth muscle .n.muscle tissue that contrast without concious control , having the form of thin layers or sheets made up spindle shaped, unstriated muscles constrated cells with single nuclei in stomach etc.....

they also called smooth muscle or visceral muscle or involuntary muscle (which have no control of will power). these are present of the walls of alimentary canal., blood vessels, urinary bladder, ureters,. these also present in hair muscles, (arrector pilli) of skin, iris and ciliary body of eye
