2. The direction of the wind.

3. The speed of the wind( strong winds cause cyclones).

A cyclone is generated when the warm and humid air over the ocean rises up, thereby resulting in the formation of a region of low pressure below. This causes air from the surrounding regions to come in and hence results in a cyclone.
