Without atmosphere life is not possible on earth, as we need air to breathe.Atmosphere is basically means the air surrounding the earth's surface.

The atmosphere is divided into 5 parts..

1.Trosphosphere which is 0- 12 km upward from earth's surface.

2.Stratosphere which is 12 - 50 km after troposphere

3.Mesosphere which is 50- 80km after stratosphere

4.Theromosphere which is 80 -700km after mesosphere
and the last one is

5.Exosphere which is 700- 10,000 km after thermosphere.
