Goindwal (also spelled Goindval) is the site of a township and Sikh shrine Goindwal Baoli, the Well of 84 Steps which was constructed in the 16th century by Guru Amar Das.

Guru Amar Das laid the foundation of the Goindwal Sahib Baoli. The place is located at Taran Taran district of Punjab and is 23 kilometers away from the Tarn Taran Sahib.

Guru Amar Das was the third Guru of Sikh religion and constructed the stepwell or Baoli which has 84 steps.
