Auxin , Shoot Tip.

Explanation:

Auxin Hormone is secreted when growing plants detect light.

Secretion in the shoot tip.

The higher concentration of auxin on the shady side causes the plant cells on that side to grow more so it bends toward the light. Because light is the energy source for plant growth, plants have evolved highly sensitive mechanisms for perceiving light. This bending towardlight is called phototropism.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER......

¤ The hormone secreted when growing plants detect light is "AUXIN".

¤ The site of secretion of auxin in plants is at the "TIP OF SHOOT".

¤ When sunlight falls on only one side of the plant, the auxin diffuses towards the shady side of the shoot. The concentration of auxin stimulates the cells to grow longer.

That is why the plants appear to bend towards the source of light.
