Answer:

The Pandya kingdom extended from the southern region from ‘Podukottai district to Kanyakumari’ in the ‘South and Achankovil River’ in Kerala to River Vegai in the Eastern sector. They occupied districts of Madurai, Tirunelveli, and Ramnad in Tamil Nadu. ‘Madurai’ was their 'capital', situated on the ‘bank of river Vaigai’.

Explanation:

The Pandya dynasty ruled the major portion of southern India until the ‘15th century CE’. Their capital was at Korkai. This was later shifted to Madurai. 'Korkai was a seaport' which was situated at the 'southernmost tip' of the ‘Indian Peninsula’.
