⇒Testosterone is responsible for deep voice, enlargement of genital organs and appearance of beard in male.

• Ovary

⇒ It produce female hormone that is oestrogen.

⇒ It maintain pregnancy.

⇒Help in implantation of the embryo or foetus.

• Corpus Luteum

⇒ It produce rennin hormone, which regulate erythropoisis or haemopoisis in bone marrow.

⇒ It also influence ultra filtration in nephron of kidney.

Note : The most important function of gonad is to produce gametes for reproduction. It is also known as sex gland.
