There were 5 members of One Direction until 25 March,2015.
They were:-
i)Niall Horan---13 September. He released his two solo singles This Town and Slow Hands

ii)Louis Tomlinson---24 December. He released his solo single Just Hold On. He is a father of Freddie Reigns.

iii)Liam Payne---28 August. He also released a single and has a very young son.

iv)Harry Styles---1 February. He is acting in Christopher Noah's Dunkirk and also released his own solo album.

v)Zayn Malik---12 January. He released an album Mind of Mine.

Zayn Malik however left the band and started a solo career. So the rest released an album Made in the A.M. and went on a break of 18 months. Though there is a rumour of the disunion of the band,the four band members keep on saying in social media and in interviews that they will reunite :)
