The 'natural habitat' of Indian lion includes grasslands, deciduous forests and shrubs.

EXPLANATION:

The Indian lion is found in 'North Western' and 'central parts' of India.  Gir Forests in Gujarat are famous for inhabiting Indian lion. The 'Gir Wildlife Sanctuary' houses almost 500 Indian and Asiatic lions.

In this habitat, the Indian lions do not have any predators and therefore are safe in this habitat. The Indian lion walks freely in this habitat and eat and rest in this sanctuary.
