(a) Vegetable oils such as groundnut oil, cotton seed oil, which contain double bonds in their molecules, are converted into ghee by hydrogenation in the presence of Ni. The process of converting a vegetable oil into a solid fat (vegetable ghee) is called hydrogenation of oil.

(b) Liquid-fuel rockets consist of a fuel and oxygen (or other oxidizer) in liquid state. They are combined in a combustion chamber and ignited. ... Once the solid fuel is ignited, the resulting thrust cannot be regulated or turned off.
